Featuring: The J.P. Cormier Trio (Cape Breton, NS), the CD release of Edmond Boudreau, and the effervescent duo of Valerie Thompson & Vessela Stoyanova on Cello and Marimba. Many special guests will also be on hand, including Music Fest stalwart Matt Leavenworth on fiddle and guitar, Joe Cormier on fiddle, Telecaster Master Jim Spellman , and more surprise accompanists.Hilda Chiasson-Cormier (piano and vocals) and multi-instrumentalist Darren McMullen will accompany JP for their extended set. As with his past appearances, we'll be shaking our heads in amazement at the virtuosity JP displays on guitar, fiddle, mandolin, and banjo; not to mention his singing of his own finely-written songs! JP is a gibraltar of a supporter of the Patio Records mission of creating healing gardens for patients. (To boot, he has three fundraising CDs available)! 100% of ticket proceeds for this event will go towards maintaining and caring of The Mary Eagan Garden at Children's Hospital Boston at Waltham, MA,.
