1st Annual Ottawa Healing Garden Music Fest
Oh, what a show this was! Many of our favorite Canadian performers came together at the National Library and Archives Auditorium in the nation's capital to entertain us. Featured Headliners included Ian Tamblyn, Georgette Fry, Cindy Thompson, Suzie Vinnick, and Missy Burgess.
And what a group of musicians there were on hand through the night! A partial list includes maple-leaf'ed stars in their own right James Stephens (fiddle, bass, vocals), Fred Guignion (guitars), Vince Halfhide (guitar, vocals), Dave Carmichael (guitar, vocals), and Lance Anderson (keyboards). Statesiders Dave Mattacks (drums) and Richard Gates (bass) traveled northwards to backbone the rhythm section for the concert.
100% of ticket proceeds for this event went towards funding the creation and of a Healing Garden at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre.
