2nd Annual Ottawa Healing Garden Music Fest

Featured Canadian headliners included Rick Fines (Peterborough, ON) and Tannis Slimmon (Guelph, ON). Coming to us from the Adirondacks in New York State were the superbly-voiced and finely-tuned tandem of Karen Savoca and Pete Heitzman. Boston's own Amy Fairchild (a Chopper fave) brought her gifts of pen, voice, and guitar to the stage, and traveling all the way from the state of Washington were be two exquisite creators and presenters of songs, the Reinhold Richards Duo. (You'll remember Nancy Reinhold from her writing and performing days with The Wyrd Sisters, and what a team she makes with her performing parter Marjorie Richards.

Yes, the Patio All-Star Rhythm section was in full gear with Dave Mattacks (UK/US) (drums) and Richard Gates (Bass) traveling northwards to provide a resounding backbone, and one of our the ever-so-talented Ray Legere bringing his mandolin and fiddle from Moncton, NB, Canada for exquisite accompaniment. To boot, Ottawa's own Patio All-Star Band member Fred Guignion once again graced our ears with his superb sidemanship! (Yea, verily, Monsieur Eagan donned his Spector to thump away a bit with Monsieur Fines :)
