11th Annual Boston Healing Garden Music Fest

The core of headliners were once-again virtuosos in their musical abilities, as well as great-hearted people underscoring all their offerings! Featured showcasers included a href="http://www.harveyreid.com/">Harvey Reid & Joyce Andersen, and Ray Legere & Patio Grass. Harvey and Joyce, who have extensive individual careers, traveled from Maine to accompany one another in their set. Ray was joined by fellow Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada stalwarts Paul Hebert on Vocals and Guitar and Frank Doody on banjo and vocals.

Also coming down from Canada was Ottawa, Ontario singer-songwriter favorite Ana Miura.

But, of course, a Music Fest event wouldn't have been complete without the most masterful, and all-time record-holder participant/accompanist/feature....Matt Leavenworth! Matt brought his violin, guitar, voice, and je ne sais quoi to the event. In addition, Mr. Edmond Boudreau accompanied on bass and mandolin.

100% of ticket proceeds were donated towards the maintaining and caring of The Mary Eagan Garden that adjoins the Beth Israel Deaconess Cancer Care Centre on the campus of Children's Hospital Boston at Waltham (MA)), and the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation (towards future healing gardens).
