A Musical Tribute to Mary Eagan
This second benefit concert in Mary's memory built on the initial concept and added a great spark of momentum. Leading up to the event, a collaboration with the Deaconess-Waltham Hospital began to take hold. Many of the song contributors for the Family, Friends, and Neighbors benefit compilation CD performed at this first "Music Fest". The All-Star lineup featured: Beth Ferguson, Rick Fines, Suzie Vinnick, John Fitzsimmons , Gail Rundlett, Geoff Bartley, John Lincoln Wright, John & Leah Curtis, Joe Cormier and Jaye Coates . Featured accompanists included Matt Leavenworth (guitars and fiddle), John Curtis (keyboards and vocals), Jeannine Randall (piano), Pat "Hatrack" Gallagher (harmonica and vocals), Dimitri Eleftherakis (bass and vocals), Geoff Patterson (pedal steel guitar), Amanda Turner (bass viol), Tom Miller (electric bass and vocals), and Rick Smith (drums).
