17th Annual Greater Waltham Healing Garden Music Fest
This year's guaranteed-to-put-a-smile-on-your-face (and in your ears and hearts) lineup:
From Glastonbury, Connecticut, Amy Gallatin & Stillwaters brought their right-on lead and harmonizing singing of traditional, bluegrass, and country treasures; with superb acoustic instrumental accompaniment.
Kingston, Ontario's Kelli Trottier has said "Yes" to the last year's crowd's request to perform once again this spring. Long-time fans and newcomers alike were charmed by her champion fiddling and wonderfully-warm singing renditions, not to mention a bit of stepdancing!
Taking the night home were the fabulous "Special Guesters", a group assembled specifically for last year's and this year's Healing Garden Concert. They gave a preview of what will be a sure-fire pleaser of a CD next spring from these artists personally invited by Terry, including Chuck Parrish and Jim Spellman on electric guitars, Matt Leavenworth on fiddle, Edmond Boudreau on mandolin, and their own special guesters for their set.
100% of the ticket proceeds were donated to the Mount Auburn Hospital towards a future Healing Garden for patients and families.
