"Patio Records of Waltham, MA, is dedicated to creating Healing Gardens at hospital treatment centers. They are designed to aid patients' well-being while undergoing the rigors of medical care.

"Our efforts were inspired by Mary Eagan, who succumbed to Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in 1992. Mary requested that any monies raised in her honor be directed towards building a garden patio for future patients. It was her wish that they could enjoy such a space of comfort and peace. While science provides a cure, nature helps lift the spirit and mind; adding to the quality of life.

"Annual Benefit Concerts have led the way as a fundraising vehicle. To date, Patio Records has hosted over 60 events in U.S. and Canada; featuring lineups of Canadian and U.S. virtuosos. These exceptional musicians have been enthusiastic in response to the concert series. We have sponsored the creation of many recordings; from Nashville to Nova Scotia, Ottawa to Toronto, and Massachusetts to Michigan.  Every album sold helps add to the funds to create and care for gardens. The recording artists become a part of the family; becoming musical ambassadors within a growing community.

"The medical community has embraced the concept of total health care that goes beyond medication and traditional treatments, and includes some of the holistic elements emphasized in the Healing Gardens. (This dates back to ancient times).
